Covington Street Hockey League Competitive Hockey League - Summer '23 Sess 2!

Facts:

  • REGISTRATION HAS CLOSED

  • All are welcome - just know:

  • You'll play the best of the best on the streets,

  • It is COMPETITIVE and tough

  • It'll be fast and loose, yet still friendly

  • Think "White man CAN'T jump, pro beach hockey, And1 mixtape, all combined into a street hockey league"

  • Try your skill against the TOP CSHL Talent

  • Bring food to grill if you want

Stats:

  • 3 v 3 + Goalie format

  • 6 teams of 5, no subs

  • Aug 14th first ball drop - 6pm (tentative)

  • Teams are required to have matching uniforms (can determine after the draft)

  • Refs supplied

Play:

  • Games are 2 periods with 20-minute running clock with a 5-minute warmup & halftime

  • Mondays at 6pm (tentative) first ball drop

  • 4-6 game season then seeding for playoffs and a championship

  • 1 face off to start games then take ball out of net

  • Community reffing

  • Penalty results in 3v2 for 1min 30s - someone in crowd w/ stopwatch (& score - if scoreboard is down)

  • $100 bar-tab prize at Gypsy's for the Champion team
